1.
『『Uddayhate [uḍḍayhate (sī. pī.)] janapado, raṭṭhañcāpi vinassati;
Ehi niḷinike [niḷike (sī. syā. pī.), evamuparipi] gaccha, taṃ me brāhmaṇamānaya』』.
2.
『『Nāhaṃ dukkhakkhamā rāja, nāhaṃ addhānakovidā;
Kathaṃ ahaṃ gamissāmi, vanaṃ kuñjarasevitaṃ』』.
3.
『『Phītaṃ janapadaṃ gantvā, hatthinā ca rathena ca;
Dārusaṅghāṭayānena, evaṃ gaccha niḷinike.
4.
『『Hatthiassarathe pattī, gacchevādāya khattiye;
Taveva vaṇṇarūpena, vasaṃ tamānayissasi』』.

『『Kadalīdhajapaññāṇo, ābhujīparivārito;

『『Gambhīrarūpo te vaṇo salohito, apūtiko vaṇagandho [pakkagandho (sī.), pannagandho (syā. pī.)] mahā ca;
Karomi te kiñci kasāyayogaṃ, yathā bhavaṃ paramasukhī bhaveyya』』.

『『Na mantayogā na kasāyayogā, na osadhā brahmacāri [brahmacārī (sī. syā. pī.)] kamanti;

- 尼莉妮迦本生故事 (1) 1. "人民正在受煎熬,國土也在毀滅中, 來吧,尼莉妮迦去吧,把那婆羅門帶來給我。" 2. "大王啊我難忍苦,我不諳長途跋涉, 我怎能前往那片,有野象出沒的林。" 3. "你可乘著大象去,或乘戰車到繁華, 或乘木筏渡河去,尼莉妮迦就這樣去。 4. "騎象騎馬坐戰車,帶著步兵和貴族, 以你美貌的姿色,定能令他隨你來。" 5. "旌旗如芭蕉飄揚,環繞著彎曲之路, 遠處隱現著美麗,仙人僧伽的菴舍。 6. "那裡升起嫋嫋煙,那煙霧正在飄散, 我想是大神通者,仙人僧伽在護火。" 7. "當他看見她走來,戴著寶石耳環飾, 仙人僧伽心生懼,躲入草蓋的庵中。 8. "她在菴舍門前處,玩著皮球蹦蹦跳, 時而顯露她身體,若隱若現最隱私。 9. "看見她在嬉戲時,結髮者在草舍中, 從菴舍中走出來,說出瞭如下言語: 10. "嗨那是什麼樹木,結出如此奇異果, 投擲遠處會回返,不會離她遠處去。" 11. "婆羅門啊在我家,靠近香醉山之處, 有許多這樣樹木,結出如此奇異果, 投擲遠處會回返,不會離我遠處去。" 12. "請進來到這菴舍,我給你水和食物, 這裡有座位請坐,可以享用根與果。" 13. "你兩腿之間是何,光滑烏黑在閃耀, 請告訴我此緣由,頭部是否藏套中?" 14. "我在林中尋果實,遇見兇猛的熊熊, 它忽然向我撲來,推倒我傷了頭部。 15. "此傷處發癢難忍,經常都不得安寧, 請您幫我除此癢,行此婆羅門之事。" 16. "你的傷口深且紅,不腐但有異味大, 我為你配製藥劑,使你能得最大樂。" 17. "咒語藥劑都無用,草藥修行者無效, 用柔軟物來止癢,讓我能得最大樂。" 18. "從這裡往哪方向,是你的菴舍所在? 你可安居在林中?可有充足根與果? 野獸是否來侵擾?" 19. "從這裡往正北方,有條祥和雪山河, 河岸邊有我菴舍,請您來看我住處。 20. "芒果娑羅提拉卡,蒲桃優曇婆羅花, 四周有緊那羅唱,請您來看我住處。 21. "這裡有椰棗根果,色香具足甚美好, 還有美麗的地貌,請您來看我住處。"

『『Phalā ca mūlā ca pahūtamettha, vaṇṇena gandhena rasenupetā;
Āyanti ca luddakā taṃ padesaṃ, mā me tato mūlaphalaṃ ahāsuṃ』』.

『『Pitā mamaṃ mūlaphalesanaṃ gato, idāni āgacchati sāyakāle;
Ubhova gacchāmase assamaṃ taṃ, yāva pitā mūlaphalato etu』』.

『『Aññe bahū isayo sādhurūpā, rājīsayo anumagge vasanti;
Te yeva pucchesi mamassamaṃ taṃ, te taṃ nayissanti mamaṃ sakāse』』.

『『Na te kaṭṭhāni bhinnāni, na te udakamābhataṃ;
Aggīpi te na hāpito [hāsito (sī. syā.)], kiṃ nu mandova jhāyasi.

『『Bhinnāni kaṭṭhāni huto ca aggi, tapanīpi te samitā brahmacārī [brahmacāri (?)];
Pīṭhañca mayhaṃ udakañca hoti, ramasi tuvaṃ [tvaṃ (sī.)] brahmabhūto puratthā.

『『Abhinnakaṭṭhosi anābhatodako, ahāpitaggīsi [ahāpitaggīpi (ka.)] asiddhabhojano [asiṭṭhabhojano (ka.)];
Na me tuvaṃ ālapasī mamajja, naṭṭhaṃ nu kiṃ cetasikañca dukkhaṃ』』.

『『Idhāgamā jaṭilo brahmacārī, sudassaneyyo sutanū vineti;
Nevātidīgho na panātirasso, sukaṇhakaṇhacchadanehi bhoto.

『『Amassujāto apurāṇavaṇṇī, ādhārarūpañca panassa kaṇṭhe;
Dve yamā [dve passa (sī.), dvāssa (pī.)] gaṇḍā uresu jātā, suvaṇṇatindukanibhā [suvaṇṇapindūpanibhā (sī.), suvaṇṇatiṇḍusannibhā (syā.), sovannapiṇḍūpanibhā (pī.)] pabhassarā.

『『Mukhañca tassa bhusadassaneyyaṃ, kaṇṇesu lambanti ca kuñcitaggā;
Te jotare carato māṇavassa, suttañca yaṃ saṃyamanaṃ jaṭānaṃ.

『『Aññā ca tassa saṃyamāni [saṃyamanī (sī. pī.)] catasso, nīlā pītā [nīlāpi tā (pī.)] lohitikā [lohitakā (syā. pī. ka.)] ca setā;
Tā piṃsare [saṃsare (sī. syā.)] carato māṇavassa, tiriṭi [cirīṭi (sī. pī.)] saṅghāriva pāvusamhi.

『『Na mikhalaṃ muñjamayaṃ dhāreti, na santhare [santace (sī.), santacaṃ (pī.), santare (ka.)] no pana pabbajassa;
Tā jotare jaghanantare [jaghanavare (sī. pī.)] vilaggā, sateratā vijjurivantalikkhe.

『『Akhīlakāni ca avaṇṭakāni, heṭṭhā nabhyā kaṭisamohitāni;
Aghaṭṭitā niccakīḷaṃ karonti, haṃ tāta kiṃrukkhaphalāni tāni.

『『Jaṭā ca tassa bhusadassaneyyā, parosataṃ vellitaggā sugandhā;
Dvedhā siro sādhu vibhattarūpo, aho nu kho mayha tathā jaṭāssu.

『『Yadā ca so pakirati tā jaṭāyo, vaṇṇena gandhena upetarūpā;
Nīluppalaṃ vātasameritaṃva, tatheva saṃvāti panassamo ayaṃ.

『『Paṅko ca tassa bhusadassaneyyo, netādiso yādiso mayhaṃ kāye [kāyo (sī. syā. pī.)];
So vāyatī erito mālutena, vanaṃ yathā aggagimhe suphullaṃ.

Khittañca tassa punareti hatthaṃ, haṃ tāta kiṃrukkhaphalaṃ nu kho taṃ.

『『Dantā ca tassa bhusadassaneyyā, suddhā samā saṅkhavarūpapannā;
Mano pasādenti vivariyamānā, na hi [na ha (sī. pī.)] nūna so sākamakhādi tehi.

『『Akakkasaṃ aggaḷitaṃ muhuṃ muduṃ, ujuṃ anuddhataṃ acapalamassa bhāsitaṃ;
Rudaṃ manuññaṃ karavīkasussaraṃ, hadayaṅgamaṃ rañjayateva me mano.
21. "這裡多有果和根,具足色香味俱全, 獵人常來此地帶,莫讓他們偷我果。" 23. "我父去尋根與果,傍晚時分就回來, 讓我們一同前往,等待父親採果歸。" 24. "還有眾多善仙人,王仙住在路途上, 你可詢問我庵址,他們會引你到我。" 25. "你沒有劈開木柴,你沒有取來水來, 火也沒有護持好,為何發呆在打坐?" 26. "柴已劈好火已燃,修行者你的苦行, 有座位還有清水,往昔你修得安樂。" 27. "木柴未劈水未取,火未護持食未備, 今日你不與我語,是否心有何苦惱?" 28. "這裡來了結髮者,修行者甚美麗, 不會太高也不矮,黑髮如蓋真可愛。" 29. "無須新生容顏美,頸上掛著裝飾物, 胸前生有雙隆起,金色光澤真耀眼。" 30. "面容更是甚美麗,耳邊垂著捲曲發, 青年走時光閃耀,結髮之繩也搖晃。" 31. "他還有四種裝飾,藍黃赤白四種色, 青年走時皆搖晃,如雨季中的彩虹。" 32. "不戴文佳草腰帶,也不披著樹皮衣, 腰間之物皆閃耀,如空中電光閃爍。" 33. "光滑圓潤無柄莖,腹下繫於腰間處, 不經觸碰自搖動,父親啊那是何果?" 34. "他的髮辮甚美麗,百餘縷皆捲曲香, 頭分兩邊很整齊,但願我發如他發。" 35. "當他散開那髮辮,具足色香真美好, 如風吹動青蓮花,他的菴舍也芬芳。" 36. "他身上的香甚美,不像我身的氣味, 隨風飄散的香氣,如盛夏林花盛開。" 37. "他將果實擲地上,形狀美麗真可愛, 投出之果又回返,父親啊那是何果?" 38. "他的牙齒真美麗,潔白整齊如貝殼, 張口時令人歡喜,想必未食酸澀菜。" 39. "柔和悅耳無粗糙,正直穩重不輕浮, 如迦陵頻伽妙音,入心令我意歡喜。"

『『Tapanti ābhanti virocare ca, sateratā vijjurivantalikkhe;
Bāhā mudū añjanalomasādisā, vicitravaṭṭaṅgulikāssa sobhare.

Mudūhi bāhāhi palissajanto, kalyāṇarūpo ramayaṃ [ramayhaṃ (ka.)] upaṭṭhahi.

『『Nivesanaṃ kassa nudaṃ sunanda, pākārena paṇḍumayena guttaṃ;
Kā dissati aggisikhāva dūre, vehāyasaṃ [vehāsayaṃ (sī. pī.)] pabbataggeva acci.
40. "音聲溫和不過高,想必唸誦不太多, 我希望再見到他,他曾是我前世友。" 41. "關節勻稱身光滑,寬闊美好如新葉, 那青年用上衣裹,腰胯擠壓我大腿。" 42. "閃耀發光且明亮,如空中閃電光芒, 柔軟手臂如黑絨,手指美麗飾各環。" 43. "不粗糙也無長毛,指甲修長帶紅暈, 用柔軟臂來擁抱,美貌令人心歡喜。" 44. "如棉樹絨般閃亮,金色手鐲光滑美, 柔軟手掌曾觸我,父親啊使我燃燒。" 45. "他定未挑過重擔,也未親手劈過柴, 也未用斧砍過樹,故他手上無繭痕。" 46. "他說熊傷了他身,讓我幫他得安樂, 我為他做他歡喜,他說婆羅門我樂。" 47. "這藤葉鋪的床褥,被我倆弄得凌亂, 疲倦身軀戲水后,一次次回草菴中。" 48. "今日咒語難記起,護火祭祀皆荒廢, 根果也難入我口,直到再見那修行。" 49. "父親你定然知曉,修行者住在何方, 請速帶我去那裡,免得我死在庵中。" 50. "我聞說有片美林,群鳥棲息常鳴唱, 請速帶我去那林,免得命終在你庵。" 51. "我在這光耀林中,乾闥婆天女所居, 仙人居處古已然,不曾感受如此苦。" 52. "有時為友有時非,親友之間生愛戀, 這卑劣者為何來,不知我從何處來。" 53. "正是因為共相處,一再建立友情誼, 若是不能常相會,友情也會漸消減。" 54. Ekarattaṃ dvirattaṃ [dirattaṃ (pī.)] vā, bhaveyyaṃ abhipārako;

58. "善難陀她是誰女,是誰媳婦誰妻子, 請速告訴我真相,是否已有夫君在?" 59. "人王啊我都知曉,她父母和她身世, 那人正是屬下您,日夜不懈為您事。" 60. "他富有且很昌盛,是您的一位大臣, 阿毗巴拉卡之妻,大王她名烏瑪丹提。" 61. "啊呀這名字取得,父母真是太巧妙, 因為她望著我時,使我發狂名副實。" 62. "滿月之夜鹿眼女,肌膚白凈如蓮花, 我見她著紅色衣,恍如見到雙滿月。" 63. "她用美麗大眼睛,媚眼看我心蕩漾, 打著哈欠奪我心,如山林中緊那女。" 64. "那時身材高挑美,戴著寶石耳環飾, 單衣著身的女子,似受驚鹿望四方。" 65. "何時紅甲柔毛女,臂軟涂旃檀精油, 圓指優雅舉止美,美女將撫我頭頂。" 66. "何時金網覆身女,帝利提女細腰姿, 以柔臂來相擁抱,如藤纏繞大森林。" 67. "何時硃紅膚光潤,雙乳如點蓮花膚, 口對口來相親近,如象鼻對飲酒碗。" 68. "當我見她站立時,全身美好令心醉, 從此我心意迷失,不知何事皆忘卻。" 69. "自從見到烏瑪丹提,戴著寶石耳環飾, 日夜難眠不得安,如輸千金心煩惱。" 70. "若帝釋賜我願望,若我所愿能得成, 一夜兩夜讓我做,阿毗巴拉卡其人, 與烏瑪丹提共歡,之後再做錫毗王。" 71. "我禮敬諸神之主,夜叉來對我說道: '王心繫于烏瑪丹提,我將賜你可享用。'" 72. "我非福德也非天,人們會知此惡事, 內心會有大痛苦,得已心愛不得見。" 73. "人王除你我之外,無人知曉此事情, 我賜你烏瑪丹提,大王請除慾望林。" 74. "行惡業的世人啊,以為他人不知情, 眾神明見其所為,地上賢者亦洞悉。" 75. "世上還有何他人,相信她非我所愛, 內心會有大痛苦,得已心愛不得見。" 76. "人王她確是我愛,大王於我非不愛, 請去見烏瑪丹提,如獅入山洞一般。"

"我必定要殺死我,因為貪愛的緣故, 我不能以非正法,去殺害於正法事。" 87. "若你顧念我人王,不貪求啊勇士尊, 我在錫毗眾人前,釋放她你再召喚。" 88. "阿毗巴拉卡若你,無過而舍有害你, 你將遭受大誹謗,城中也無人支援。" 89. "我將承受此誹謗,一切譭譽與譴責, 讓這些來臨我身,錫毗王請隨意行。" 90. "不受譭譽與譴責,不接受敬或供養, 吉祥福德皆離他,如水流離高地去。" 91. "從此而來苦與樂,違法之事心煩惱, 我將以胸承擔起,如大地承動靜物。" 92. "違法之事心煩惱,我不願他人受苦, 我將獨自擔此擔,住于正法不減少。" 93. "人王此善業生天,請勿為我作障礙, 我歡喜施烏瑪丹提,如王祭時施婆羅門。" 94. "賢者你確為我益,你與丹提皆我友, 諸天祖先會譴責,來世將見惡業果。" 95.
