18 "比丘們,具足九支的布薩若持守,則有大果、大利、大光輝、大遍滿。比丘們,如何持守具足九支的布薩而有大果、大利、大光輝、大遍滿?在此,比丘們,聖弟子如是思維:'阿羅漢們盡形壽斷除殺生,遠離殺生,放下棒杖,放下刀劍,有慚愧心,具慈悲心,利益哀愍一切眾生而住。我今日這一夜這一日,也斷除殺生,遠離殺生,放下棒杖,放下刀劍,有慚愧心,具慈悲心,利益哀愍一切眾生而住。以此支分我傚法阿羅漢們,我的布薩將得持守。'這是具足第一支分...乃至... '阿羅漢們盡形壽斷除高廣大床,遠離高廣大床,以低處為臥具——或床或草鋪;我今日這一夜這一日,也斷除高廣大床,遠離高廣大床,以低處為臥具——或床或草鋪。以此支分我傚法阿羅漢們,我的布薩將得持守。'這是具足第八支分。 以慈心遍滿一方而住,如是第二方,如是第三方,如是第四方。如是上下四維,普遍一切處,以廣大、無量、無怨、無惱的慈心遍滿整個世界而住。這是具足第九支分。比丘們,如是持守具足九支的布薩,則有大果、大利、大光輝、大遍滿。"第八。 9 天神
