  2. Ekaṃ samayaṃ bhagavā vesāliyaṃ viharati mahāvane kūṭāgārasālāyaṃ. Atha kho bhagavā sāyanhasamayaṃ paṭisallānā vuṭṭhito yena gilānasālā tenupasaṅkami. Addasā kho bhagavā aññataraṃ bhikkhuṃ dubbalaṃ gilānakaṃ; disvā paññatte āsane nisīdi. Nisajja kho bhagavā bhikkhū āmantesi –
