Evaṃ me sutaṃ – ekaṃ samayaṃ bhagavā sāvatthiyaṃ viharati jetavane anāthapiṇḍikassa ārāme. Tatra kho bhagavā bhikkhū āmantesi – 『『bhikkhavo』』ti. 『『Bhadante』』ti te bhikkhū bhagavato paccassosuṃ. Bhagavā etadavoca –
『『Cattārome, bhikkhave, valāhakā. Katame cattāro? Gajjitā no vassitā, vassitā no gajjitā, neva gajjitā no vassitā, gajjitā ca vassitā ca. Ime kho, bhikkhave, cattāro valāhakā. Evamevaṃ kho, bhikkhave, cattāro valāhakūpamā [pu. pa. 157] puggalā santo saṃvijjamānā lokasmiṃ. Katame cattāro? Gajjitā no vassitā, vassitā no gajjitā, neva gajjitā no vassitā, gajjitā ca vassitā ca.

(11) 1. 云品 1. 第一云經 如是我聞。一時,世尊住舍衛城(現今印度北方邦斯拉瓦斯蒂縣)祇樹給孤獨園。在那裡,世尊對比丘們說:"諸比丘。"那些比丘回答世尊說:"尊者。"世尊如是說: "諸比丘,有四種云。哪四種?只打雷不下雨,只下雨不打雷,既不打雷也不下雨,既打雷又下雨。諸比丘,這就是四種云。同樣地,諸比丘,世間上有四種如雲的人存在。哪四種?只打雷不下雨,只下雨不打雷,既不打雷也不下雨,既打雷又下雨。 "諸比丘,怎樣的人是隻打雷不下雨呢?在這裡,諸比丘,某人是說話者,不是實行者。諸比丘,這樣的人就是隻打雷不下雨。諸比丘,就像那隻打雷不下雨的云;諸比丘,我說這個人就是如此。 "諸比丘,怎樣的人是隻下雨不打雷呢?在這裡,諸比丘,某人是實行者,不是說話者。諸比丘,這樣的人就是隻下雨不打雷。諸比丘,就像那隻下雨不打雷的云;諸比丘,我說這個人就是如此。 "諸比丘,怎樣的人是既不打雷也不下雨呢?在這裡,諸比丘,某人既不是說話者,也不是實行者。諸比丘,這樣的人就是既不打雷也不下雨。諸比丘,就像那既不打雷也不下雨的云;諸比丘,我說這個人就是如此。 "諸比丘,怎樣的人是既打雷又下雨呢?在這裡,諸比丘,某人既是說話者,又是實行者。諸比丘,這樣的人就是既打雷又下雨。諸比丘,就像那既打雷又下雨的云;諸比丘,我說這個人就是如此。諸比丘,這就是世間上存在的四種如雲的人。"第一。 2. 第二云經

Evamevaṃ kho, bhikkhave , cattāro kumbhūpamā [pu. pa. 160] puggalā santo saṃvijjamānā lokasmiṃ. Katame cattāro? Tuccho pihito, pūro vivaṭo, tuccho vivaṭo, pūro pihito.

Evamevaṃ kho, bhikkhave, cattāro udakarahadūpamā [pu. pa. 161] puggalā santo saṃvijjamānā lokasmiṃ. Katame cattāro? Uttāno gambhīrobhāso , gambhīro uttānobhāso, uttāno uttānobhāso, gambhīro gambhīrobhāso.
