『『『Māro, māro』ti, bhante, vuccati. Kittāvatā nu kho, bhante, māro』』ti? 『『Rūpe kho, rādha, sati māro vā assa māretā vā yo vā pana mīyati. Tasmātiha tvaṃ, rādha, rūpaṃ māroti passa, māretāti passa, mīyatīti passa, rogoti passa, gaṇḍoti passa, sallanti passa, aghanti passa, aghabhūtanti passa. Ye naṃ evaṃ passanti te sammā passanti. Vedanāya sati… saññāya sati… saṅkhāresu sati… viññāṇe sati māro vā assa māretā vā yo vā pana mīyati. Tasmātiha tvaṃ, rādha, viññāṇaṃ māroti passa, māretāti passa, mīyatīti passa, rogoti passa, gaṇḍoti passa, sallanti passa, aghanti passa, aghabhūtanti passa. 『『Sammādassanaṃ pana, bhante, kimatthiya』』nti? 『『Sammādassanaṃ kho, rādha, nibbidatthaṃ』』. 『『Nibbidā pana, bhante, kimatthiyā』』ti? 『『Nibbidā kho, rādha, virāgatthā』』. 『『Virāgo pana, bhante , kimatthiyo』』ti? 『『Virāgo kho, rādha, vimuttattho』』. 『『Vimutti pana, bhante, kimatthiyā』』ti? 『『Vimutti kho, rādha, nibbānatthā』』. 『『Nibbānaṃ pana, bhante, kimatthiya』』nti? 『『Accayāsi [accasarā (sī. syā. kaṃ.), assa (pī.), accayā (ka.)], rādha, pañhaṃ, nāsakkhi pañhassa pariyantaṃ gahetuṃ. Kittāvatā nu kho, bhante , sattoti vuccatī』』ti? 『『Rūpe kho, rādha, yo chando yo rāgo yā nandī yā taṇhā, tatra satto, tatra visatto, tasmā sattoti vuccati. Vedanāya… saññāya… saṅkhāresu… viññāṇe yo chando yo rāgo yā nandī yā taṇhā, tatra satto, tatra visatto, tasmā sattoti vuccati』』.

『『Seyyathāpi, rādha, kumārakā vā kumārikāyo vā paṃsvāgārakehi kīḷanti. Yāvakīvañca tesu paṃsvāgārakesu avigatarāgā honti avigatacchandā avigatapemā avigatapipāsā avigatapariḷāhā avigatataṇhā, tāva tāni paṃsvāgārakāni allīyanti keḷāyanti dhanāyanti [manāyanti (sī. pī. ka.)] mamāyanti. Yato ca kho, rādha, kumārakā vā kumārikāyo vā tesu paṃsvāgārakesu vigatarāgā honti vigatacchandā vigatapemā vigatapipāsā vigatapariḷāhā vigatataṇhā, atha kho tāni paṃsvāgārakāni hatthehi ca pādehi ca vikiranti vidhamanti viddhaṃsenti vikīḷaniyaṃ [vikīḷanikaṃ (sī. syā. kaṃ. pī.)] karonti. Katamā nu kho, bhante, bhavanetti, katamo bhavanettinirodho』』ti? 『『Rūpe kho, rādha, yo chando yo rāgo yā nandī yā taṇhā ye upayupādānā cetaso adhiṭṭhānābhinivesānusayā – ayaṃ vuccati bhavanetti.   6. 魔羅經 舍衛城因緣。那時,尊者羅陀來到世尊所在之處;來到后,向世尊禮拜,然後坐在一旁。坐在一旁的尊者羅陀對世尊如是說: "尊者,人們說'魔羅,魔羅'。尊者,到什麼程度才稱為魔羅呢?""羅陀,當有色時,或有魔羅,或有殺者,或有被殺者。因此,羅陀,你應當視色為魔羅,視為殺者,視為被殺者,視為病,視為瘡,視為箭,視為苦,視為苦之本。如是觀察者,即是正確觀察。當有受時...當有想時...當有行時...當有識時,或有魔羅,或有殺者,或有被殺者。因此,羅陀,你應當視識為魔羅,視為殺者,視為被殺者,視為病,視為瘡,視為箭,視為苦,視為苦之本。如是觀察者,即是正確觀察。" "尊者,正確觀察有何目的?""羅陀,正確觀察是爲了厭離。""尊者,厭離又有何目的?""羅陀,厭離是爲了離欲。""尊者,離欲又有何目的?""羅陀,離欲是爲了解脫。""尊者,解脫又有何目的?""羅陀,解脫是爲了涅槃。""尊者,涅槃又有何目的?""羅陀,你越過了問題的界限,不能把握問題的邊際。羅陀,梵行是以涅槃為歸依,以涅槃為目標,以涅槃為終點。"第一。
  7. 有情經 舍衛城因緣。坐在一旁的尊者羅陀對世尊如是說:"尊者,人們說'有情,有情'。尊者,到什麼程度才稱為有情呢?""羅陀,對色有欲、有貪、有喜、有愛,於此執著,於此纏縛,因此稱為有情。對受...對想...對行...對識有欲、有貪、有喜、有愛,於此執著,於此纏縛,因此稱為有情。" "羅陀,譬如男孩女孩們玩泥巴小屋。只要他們對那些泥巴小屋未離貪、未離欲、未離愛、未離渴、未離熱惱、未離愛慾,他們就會執著那些泥巴小屋,珍惜它們,視為己有,佔爲己有。但是,羅陀,當男孩女孩們對那些泥巴小屋離貪、離欲、離愛、離渴、離熱惱、離愛慾時,他們就會用手腳打散、粉碎、毀壞那些泥巴小屋,把它們變成玩具。同樣地,羅陀,你們也應當打散、粉碎、毀壞色,把它變成玩具,為滅愛而修行。你們應當打散、粉碎、毀壞受,把它變成玩具,為滅愛而修行。你們應當打散、粉碎、毀壞想...行,把它們變成玩具,為滅愛而修行。你們應當打散、粉碎、毀壞識,把它變成玩具,為滅愛而修行。羅陀,愛的滅盡即是涅槃。"第二。
  8. 有之網經 舍衛城因緣。坐在一旁的尊者羅陀對世尊如是說:"尊者,人們說'有之網的滅盡,有之網的滅盡'。尊者,什麼是有之網,什麼是有之網的滅盡呢?""羅陀,對色的欲、貪、喜、愛,以及心的執取、執著、潛在傾向,這稱為有之網。它們的滅盡即是有之網的滅盡。對受...對想...對行...對識的欲、貪、喜、愛,以及心的執取、執著、潛在傾向,這稱為有之網。它們的滅盡即是有之網的滅盡。"第三。

『『Pariññeyye ca, rādha, dhamme desessāmi pariññañca pariññātāviṃ puggalañca. Taṃ suṇāhi, sādhukaṃ manasi karohi; bhāsissāmī』』ti. 『『Evaṃ, bhante』』ti kho āyasmā rādho bhagavato paccassosi. Bhagavā etadavoca – 『『katame ca, rādha, pariññeyyā dhammā? Rūpaṃ kho, rādha, pariññeyyo dhammo, vedanā pariññeyyo dhammo, saññā pariññeyyo dhammo, saṅkhārā pariññeyyo dhammo, viññāṇaṃ pariññeyyo dhammo. Ime vuccanti, rādha, pariññeyyā dhammā. Katamā ca, rādha, pariññā? Yo kho, rādha, rāgakkhayo dosakkhayo mohakkhayo – ayaṃ vuccati, rādha, pariññā. Katamo ca, rādha, pariññātāvī puggalo? 『Arahā』tissa vacanīyaṃ. Yvāyaṃ āyasmā evaṃnāmo evaṃgotto – ayaṃ vuccati, rādha, pariññātāvī puggalo』』ti. Catutthaṃ.

Rūpupādānakkhandho, vedanupādānakkhandho, saññupādānakkhandho , saṅkhārupādānakkhandho, viññāṇupādānakkhandho. Ye hi keci, rādha, samaṇā vā brāhmaṇā vā imesaṃ pañcannaṃ upādānakkhandhānaṃ assādañca ādīnavañca nissaraṇañca yathābhūtaṃ nappajānanti; na me te, rādha, samaṇā vā brāhmaṇā vā samaṇesu vā samaṇasammatā brāhmaṇesu vā brāhmaṇasammatā, na ca pana te āyasmanto sāmaññatthaṃ vā brahmaññatthaṃ vā diṭṭheva dhamme sayaṃ abhiññā sacchikatvā upasampajja viharanti. Ye ca kho keci, rādha, samaṇā vā brāhmaṇā vā imesaṃ pañcannaṃ upādānakkhandhānaṃ assādañca ādīnavañca nissaraṇañca yathābhūtaṃ pajānanti; te kho me, rādha, samaṇā vā brāhmaṇā vā samaṇesu ceva samaṇasammatā brāhmaṇesu ca brāhmaṇasammatā , te ca panāyasmanto sāmaññatthañca brahmaññatthañca diṭṭheva dhamme sayaṃ abhiññā sacchikatvā upasampajja viharantī』』ti. Yato kho, rādha, ariyasāvako imesaṃ pañcannaṃ upādānakkhandhānaṃ samudayañca atthaṅgamañca assādañca ādīnavañca nissaraṇañca yathābhūtaṃ pajānāti – ayaṃ vuccati, rādha, ariyasāvako sotāpanno avinipātadhammo niyato sambodhiparāyano』』ti. Yato kho, rādha, bhikkhu imesaṃ pañcannaṃ upādānakkhandhānaṃ samudayañca atthaṅgamañca assādañca ādīnavañca nissaraṇañca yathābhūtaṃ viditvā anupādāvimutto hoti – ayaṃ vuccati, rādha, arahaṃ khīṇāsavo vusitavā katakaraṇīyo ohitabhāro anuppattasadattho parikkhīṇabhavasaṃyojano sammadaññāvimutto』』ti.   10. 應遍知經 舍衛城因緣。尊者羅陀來到世尊所在之處;來到后,向世尊禮拜,然後坐在一旁。世尊對坐在一旁的尊者羅陀如是說: "羅陀,我將為你說應遍知之法、遍知、及已遍知者。請諦聽,善加作意,我將宣說。""是的,尊者。"尊者羅陀回答世尊。世尊如是說:"羅陀,什麼是應遍知之法?羅陀,色是應遍知之法,受是應遍知之法,想是應遍知之法,行是應遍知之法,識是應遍知之法。羅陀,這些稱為應遍知之法。羅陀,什麼是遍知?羅陀,貪慾的滅盡、嗔恚的滅盡、愚癡的滅盡,這稱為遍知。羅陀,誰是已遍知者?應稱之為'阿羅漢'。這位尊者,名字如此,姓氏如此,羅陀,這稱為已遍知者。"第四。

  11. 沙門經 舍衛城因緣。世尊對坐在一旁的尊者羅陀如是說:"羅陀,有這五種取蘊。哪五種?色取蘊、受取蘊、想取蘊、行取蘊、識取蘊。羅陀,任何沙門或婆羅門不如實了知這五取蘊的味、患、離;羅陀,我不認為他們是沙門中的沙門,或婆羅門中的婆羅門,這些尊者們也不能在現法中以自己的智慧證悟、實現、成就沙門果或婆羅門果而安住。羅陀,任何沙門或婆羅門如實了知這五取蘊的味、患、離;羅陀,我認為他們是沙門中的沙門,婆羅門中的婆羅門,這些尊者們也能在現法中以自己的智慧證悟、實現、成就沙門果和婆羅門果而安住。"第五。
  12. 第二沙門經 舍衛城因緣。世尊對坐在一旁的尊者羅陀如是說:"羅陀,有這五種取蘊。哪五種?色取蘊...乃至...識取蘊。羅陀,任何沙門或婆羅門不如實了知這五取蘊的集、滅、味、患、離...乃至...以自己的智慧證悟、實現、成就而安住。"第六。
  13. 預流經 舍衛城因緣。世尊對坐在一旁的尊者羅陀如是說:"羅陀,有這五種取蘊。哪五種?色取蘊...乃至...識取蘊。羅陀,當聖弟子如實了知這五取蘊的集、滅、味、患、離時,羅陀,這稱為聖弟子預流,不墮惡趣,決定趣向正覺。"第七。
  14. 阿羅漢經 舍衛城因緣。世尊對坐在一旁的尊者羅陀如是說:"羅陀,有這五種取蘊。哪五種?色取蘊...乃至...識取蘊。羅陀,當比丘如實了知這五取蘊的集、滅、味、患、離,無取而解脫時,羅陀,這稱為阿羅漢,漏盡,所作已辦,舍重擔,逮得己利,盡諸有結,正智解脫。"第八。
  15. 欲貪經

  16. Sāvatthinidānaṃ. Ekamantaṃ nisinnaṃ kho āyasmantaṃ rādhaṃ bhagavā etadavoca – 『『rūpe kho, rādha, yo chando yo rāgo yā nandī yā taṇhā, taṃ pajahatha. Evaṃ taṃ rūpaṃ pahīnaṃ bhavissati ucchinnamūlaṃ tālāvatthukataṃ anabhāvaṃkataṃ āyatiṃ anuppādadhammaṃ. Vedanāya yo chando yo rāgo yā nandī yā taṇhā, taṃ pajahatha . Evaṃ sā vedanā pahīnā bhavissati ucchinnamūlā tālāvatthukatā anabhāvaṃkatā āyatiṃ anuppādadhammā. Saññāya… saṅkhāresu yo chando yo rāgo yā nandī yā taṇhā, taṃ pajahatha. Evaṃ te saṅkhārā pahīnā bhavissanti ucchinnamūlā tālāvatthukatā anabhāvaṃkatā āyatiṃ anuppādadhammā. Viññāṇe yo chando yo rāgo yā nandī yā taṇhā, taṃ pajahatha. Evaṃ taṃ viññāṇaṃ pahīnaṃ bhavissati…pe… anuppādadhamma』』nti. Navamaṃ.

Evaṃ taṃ rūpaṃ pahīnaṃ bhavissati ucchinnamūlaṃ tālāvatthukataṃ anabhāvaṃkataṃ āyatiṃ anuppādadhammaṃ. Vedanāya yo chando yo rāgo yā nandī yā taṇhā ye upayupādānā cetaso adhiṭṭhānābhinivesānusayā, te pajahatha. Evaṃ sā vedanā pahīnā bhavissati ucchinnamūlā tālāvatthukatā anabhāvaṃkatā āyatiṃ anuppādadhammā. Saññāya… saṅkhāresu yo chando yo rāgo yā nandī yā taṇhā ye upayupādānā cetaso adhiṭṭhānābhinivesānusayā, te pajahatha. Evaṃ passaṃ, rādha, sutavā ariyasāvako rūpasmimpi nibbindati, vedanāyapi nibbindati, saññāyapi nibbindati, saṅkhāresupi nibbindati, viññāṇasmimpi nibbindati. Nibbindaṃ virajjati; virāgā vimuccati. Vimuttasmiṃ vimuttamiti ñāṇaṃ hoti. 『Khīṇā jāti, vusitaṃ brahmacariyaṃ, kataṃ karaṇīyaṃ, nāparaṃ itthattāyā』ti pajānātī』』ti. Paṭhamaṃ.

  11. 欲貪經 舍衛城因緣。世尊對坐在一旁的尊者羅陀如是說:"羅陀,對色的欲、貪、喜、愛,你們應當斷除。如此,那色將被斷除,根除,如截多羅樹頭,成為非有,于未來不再生起。對受的欲、貪、喜、愛,你們應當斷除。如此,那受將被斷除,根除,如截多羅樹頭,成為非有,于未來不再生起。對想...對行的欲、貪、喜、愛,你們應當斷除。如此,那些行將被斷除,根除,如截多羅樹頭,成為非有,于未來不再生起。對識的欲、貪、喜、愛,你們應當斷除。如此,那識將被斷除...乃至...于未來不再生起。"第九。
